Maxi-Stirrer - Grain Stirrer
Overview
The Maxi-Stirrer is a gantry running on-floor grain stirrer designed as part of your bulk grain aeration system that supports the removal of compaction and very even airflows.
Our main air duct has increased storage capacity and allowed for larger grain stirring equipment, enabling wider stirrers to keep up with modern farming needs.
The Maxi-Stirrer grain store stirrer is central to the High Temperature Drying System. It’s built into advanced crop storage facilities, providing fast drying for all types of crops. The system design integrates fans with the Constant Humidity Controller, tunnel size, and stirrer capacity to support small batch drying up to large crop stores with multiple drying systems.
Most existing crop storage buildings can accommodate our Maxi-Stirrer. We can install new tunnels, floors, and stirrers, or update current drying equipment for optimal drying rates.
The low output of traditional Scottish tray dryers has improved significantly with the Maxi-Stirrer and high-output Constant Humidity Controllers. Now, large batches can be dried and cooled more quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
We can design systems for new builds or upgrade existing drying setups.

4-Wheel Drive
Using a positive four wheel drive system for reliable trouble free travel of the stirrer along the store.
Better Out-Load Averages
Stirring means the moistures levels are averaged reducing the penalties when out-loading.
Remove Compaction
Moving and mixing stored grain improves its condition by reducing compaction and allowing for better drying.
Use Less Power
Allows a reduction of fan size by 50% of that required in a static store means the electricity supply can be reduced.
Faster Drying
Far shorter drying times from high-output burners mean less gas is used per tonne.
Increased Storage Depth
Stirrers allow more airflow through the grain, allowing greater storage depths giving more tonnes per floor area.
